All the places in the world where there are people celebrating, are atmospheric in their own beautiful way. During the holiday season in the end of the year, many cities have a Christmas Street, Christmas lights or other Christmas traditions.
We would like to take you on a little tour to explore some of the Christmas cities in Europe.
Copenhagen, Denmark
Christmas in Copenhagen includes ice-skating, warm and spicy glogg or mauled wine and enchanting lights. Cozy Christmas markets are the icing on this Christmassy cake.

Cologne, Deutschland
Concerts, events, markets, decorations, and lights fill the Cathedral city for the Christmas season. As beautiful as Cologne is already year-round, it’s absolutely breath-taking in Christmas.
Tallinn, Estonia
The Tallinn Christmas Market in the capital of Estonia is worth experiencing.
You’ll sense the Christmas spirit from the first step you take on the Town Hall Square that’s filled with smells, colors, and sounds of Christmas.

Rovaniemi, Finland
Santa Claus is originally from Korvatunturi, which is an arctic hill in the town of Savukoski in Lapland, Northern Finland.
Santa also has a whole village in Rovaniemi to meet his fans and take care of his promotional duties. Rovaniemi has been called the official hometown of Santa Claus for a decade because anyone can go and visit Santa there.
Strasbourg, France
Strasbourg looks like a fairytale city already before Christmas. When the city gets glazed with thousands of lights and the Christmas market opens, you will find the truth is sometimes even more miraculous than fairy tales.

Rome, Italy
The capital of Italy has several holiday markets. And of course, the traditional Christmas Mass, one of the most famous masses in the world is held in Vatican.
Tromsø, Norway
If you’re lucky, you’ll get to see the natures own Christmas lights while visiting Tromsø. The arctic northern lights sometimes illuminate the way for Santa and his reindeers dashing over the snowy mountains of Norway.
The city streets are of course decorated with Christmas lights as well and multiple markets are filled with Christmas feeling.

Malága, Spain
The Spanish love to celebrate big and Christmas is one of the main holidays in Spain too. If you ever visit the Andalucía region in December, don’t miss the Malága Christmas Lights.
This light show is put together from thousands of led lights every year and people travel from far on the Christmas season to be amazed by it.
Gothenburg, Sweden
The Sweden’s biggest Christmas market in Liseberg amusement park is a big enough reason to visit Gothenburg during the holiday season. But there are several other Christmas things to see and experience here as well.
Or do you think a three-kilometer-long lane of lights or angelic Christmas concerts are worth missing? Well, we don’t either.
